crap on the ice - graphic

After seeing over 6 different piles of what appeared to be human crap in various locations today all over P.I., I have to ask, why do people feel the need to just shut their shanty door and pinch one off directly onto the ice? Is it really too much of a chore to take a grocery bag with you or something? If you can do it for your dog, you can do it so everyone else doesn't have to watch the mud mine you left in the ice. I'm sure some will say "when you gotta go, you gotta go" or "It's probably just dog ****". Neither are acceptable excuses, IMHO. At the very least aim over a hole and then pack snow in over it. Below is a picture of what I'm talking about. Yes, that is human **** frozen under about a half inch of ice. I am positive it was exposed by the end of the day because of all the rain. There was cigarette butts all around it and the outline of what was probably a hub style shanty. I'm 99.9% positive it's illegal to crap on the ice anyway. Make an effort and sink your floaters or pack it out.

This was only one of the piles. The others didn't seem as suitable for a message board.

    looks like he ate a cigarette butt and some corn.at the very least when the ice goes the steelhead will eat the corn...

    Is there really a "suitable' pile located on the bay? If so where are they so I can avoid em'.

    If it were'nt for venitian blinds...it would be curtains for all of us!!

    Go to East End Angler.net according to Friday Jan. 22nd's fishing report that's how you mark where the good perch fishing is......

    maybe some people like fishing in a septictank ! even a dog knows not to crap where it sleeps.

    guys, that just caught me off guard.. i'm not sure if I will ever be the same again! ..okay it Was me! I had to go really bad! It's not healthy to hold it in! Please I beg of you all, do not report me to homeland security! and one other thing, " watch out where the huskies go and don't you eat that yellow snow" anybody fishing oneida lk eyes?... that is on my agenda!!!! hehehe

    U don't have to look that hard when u find MY pile...

    I will have to remember to eat corn the night before so I can drop one in the hole for chum. Who is gonna carry around a pile of crap when they don't have to? Just like the 10" hole, watch where ur going, lol..
