This may have been our last......

Hello fisher men and women, Well hopefully you got out this weekend it maybe our last for a few days the edges are getting soft, the rain tonight isn't going to help unless it starts freezing. We need mother nature to help give us some really cold days and nights.
Fishing was really good yesterday, perch were hitting well, today was slower. Hopefully the head of the bay and Mis and horseshoe will hold ice longer.
hookem and cookem.

hopefully things will get colder, forecast for the week shows temps at night being in the 20's, but we need our days to hold at or below freezing, at least the winter season is still early and we should get more cold days and nights.

RE: This may have been our last..UPDATED TO ICE CONDITIONS 2010/01/18 14:08:28 (permalink)
    Hello fishermen and women,
Well, I was wrong, I went down to the head of the bay on the pump station side and the shore and ice was fine the temp down at the bay was 32 deg with the wind blown out of the southwest. Last night it got down in the 20's and the rest of the week it is going to get in the 20's at night. So the ice should be around for awhile.
I am sorry for giving the wrong info, I was just going off the rain last night and how the edge was looking last night when I came off chestnut. The shore looked good today.
