Pymatuning Lake

Has any one been ice fishing on Pymatuning Lake this year?
I'm looking for a good spot for walleye fishing. I've never ice fished any where other than Erie bay.
I'm open for suggestions.
Thanks guys!

I have not fished this lake yet this winter.  I heard there was 4-5inches of ice north of the causeway.  And a guy told me a couple days ago that earlier this past week a guy fell through out at  manning launch.  I took a ride this past saturday and there wasn't a sole out fishing.  Didnt go to manning or tuttle point.   The guy that told me about the guy that fell through said he was doing good on walleye right around new years.  Then all the snow came and they shut off.  Plus he said its a hike to get the spot he was fishing.  Didnt say what part of the lake.

Do people still fish the Shenango river below the dam near the bridge and up the street for the bars.

    Thanks

I do in the summer for crappie and gills. I look for stumps, trees, or other structure and float a minnow right to them.
I do not fish it this time of year. Too busy using the ice when I can.
Would like to try it a few times now that you ask

    Hello fellow fishermen and women,
I always have fished P.I. bay during hard water season. I would like to get some walleyes since I don't have a boat right now; I would like to venture to Pymatuning Lake for eyes, never fished here before any suggestions? I just want to be pointed in the right direction where to go to have a safe and enjoyable trip onto new hard water. The Vex and gear are ready, I just need to change my one poles line from 4lb to 10#. Lake Wilhelm is another place I always wanted to ice fished and never got there.
If no one wants to public post either PM me or shoot me an email at the.gamezone@verizon.net

    Thank you, the alaskan

Doin real good on pymy right now.  good size gills and crappies in deep water(25-28 FOW) suspended over brushpiles.  Using waxworms.

Where do you find that depth of water on the lake? I was there and the deepest I could find was 16-17 feet
