Man I was out on canadarago today, and I've never seen so many people and so many undersized fish on that lake. Not trying to dismay, just sharing my experience.

have decided on caroga tomorrow morning.  any hints on catching some keeper sized splake?  i usually dont fish for trout through the ice but would like to find out how.  the only way i can catch them is accidentally.   how deep of water, how far above the bottom, what to use to catch them.  thanks.

we always used to go right off the beach, like i said before not many monsters, but a decent amount of action. Piseco isn't that far from there and offers a chance at some bigger trout .

I thank you for the report jk, will concentrate more local.. swingbridge is tough to fish but i got to try it again.. had two throwback one sat 15in and one sunday a dink, but nice seeing eye so the potential is there..suppose to be perch and trout too but so far only jigged small 6in. crappie.
