cheaper is not always best . i bought the "pak shak" for 100.00 bux 3 yrs ago..blew my butt  all over the bay! not just the cold out there  WIND is huge... if u have to sruggle to keep the lid down, not much time to fish n enjoy...upgraded ...much better now . keep the wind in mind

I'd get a hut, iced fish without one the last few years and it sucked.  Bought one off ebay/killzonehunting.com up in Michigan for $139.  Gander Mountain or even Tractor Supply have heaters for $80.  I did find used one on ebay for $40 in good condition.

I sat behind a hut at the bay on tuesday it was snowing and about 20 out with a steady wind i was pretty cold i made her from sun up to sun down tho... but id go with a hut there nice to have you can fish in comfort and you dont lose feeling in your hand after cranking up the gills all day long...i wish my hut would of fit in my car just to big....

got to agree with dafunk, it does get darn right cold out there especially if you are going to be out there all day., don't want to buy like the other fisherman said, there are plans all over the net on building one. love your comment hc on go in sober come out drunk. nice.

    Am I reading this right?  You come out of a nice warm hut to pee? I must be getting softer as I get older( no pun intended) as I keep thinking how much better it would be to go in the hut if I used 1.  sam

Hut...stupud question, although fishing with a vex is awesome!

The Lord has blessed us all today... It's just that he has been particularly good to me.
