blinds

drew a blind for 1-11-10 and was just wondering if anyone has hunted the blinds lately. any info would help. thanks

    No,but the migraters are gone,so your hunting resident birds,which will be tougher,but it's all about getting the right blind,last year I drew a late Dec. blind,all the birds know where there going,no amount of decs or skilled callings going to turn them,we did get birds but only one group of 4 came into the decs.Good luck and hope for a killer blind.

    Drew a blind on 12-14.  There were lots of birds and we had a great time.  Can't say what has transipred in the last month or so.

    Drew blind on 1/2/10 Conditions were brutal -5 wind chill 12 inches of snow and rising Had to clear snow to place decoys. Birds flew at 12 when spooked by guys leaving blinds. Bring sled to haul Equipment . It was a Great hunt Birds are still there.

    Its tough patterning late season birds.  They fly later -IMO  becuase I think the hunting pressure is high in the fields in the morning.  I have expieriance this many times late in the season or in high pressure areas.
