Winter trout

Buddy and I fished yesterday on 2 streams in central Pa. Water was perfect for us and, in only 5 hours we landed over 30 trout between us {what they were doing between us I'll never know}. These sreams are open to fishing and are fished heavily during "trout" season. Just because the weather gets cold doesn't mean the fish don't eat. We saw no one and had the entire streams to ourselves. Great day to be out.

    People fish in the Winter? Who knew?

    Here's an outing from the other day. 18 degrees holms. Get some.


    Fun times. Too bad my camera froze up & I couldn't get very many pics..
    Gearing up. Don't ask how many times I had to put on/take off waders before I was set.

    The river looked a little like this...

    Fags galore.

    Money hole.

    Fush. Most of us caught a bunch. This one may be hooked in the face, but **** it- they was really sluggish & deserved what they got.

    We fished hard, I think.

    Some of us said I'm cool & went for a swim. Kook.

    PS- I was comatose from the time we left the Diner until 0800. Did you guys spike my fries & why does my buttocks itch?
