I am not trying to cause problems or anything, but last week someone said there were people fishing on Misery and now 16506fish you say “if you wana go for a swim� So which is it? I live over an hour away; it would be nice to get accurate information. 16506fish can you tell us if Misery, or Horseshoe is covered in ice? If so did you drill any holes, and how think was it?

i checked the other day and the shore ice was messed up so i drove to edinboro lake and fished it we had 4 to 5 inches of good ice but we didnt catch anything but misery is like the honey hole so i was wondering about it , i personally think it is ok to fish but wont give anyone any info until im actually down there and see it.

They are both iced over, I'd give it till this weekend and horeshoe should be good again. Last week my buddy and a few others fished horeshoe, few gills and few perch. Said there was 3" of solid black ice, but it was warm and rain on saturday, still iced over though.
The Lord has blessed us all today... It's just that he has been particularly good to me.

misery has 4-5 on it im gunna fish it tommarow there was a guy on horseshoe said he had 3 in and it was shaky ice

i went off the side were the hotel or whatever it is down the road is , on the street that goes throught the middle of town i think ,not really farmiliar with that area

misery bay and horseshoe pond are both frozen over. about 4"-5"

Well...as of today there were 12 huts on Misery and they were all "Skinnin Grizz on Mizz" the hit was fast and furious and one could afford to be extremely picky. Lots of Blues mixed size, some jumbo Crappie, lage mouth bass and a bunch of "wonder fish".
Horse Shoe: had a half a dozen guys scounting around...couple steelhead laying on the ice and some bloody holes from earlier this morning.
Marina Lake: Plenty of ice from pier 7 west not much action and occasional steelhead or two but that's about it.
Spud and ice picks always a good idea....a buddy with a long rope isn't bad either....good fishing!
