TUESDAY AM PIKE HUNT?

I'm off on tuesday a.m. 12/29.  Lake Lonely will be the battleground and esox (and shiners) will be the victims. Anybody want to meet and spend a few hours on ice?  Always good to have somebody to trudge in with. I plan to get there around 730. If my baits dead, a little later.

    Barry:

I may give it a shot tomorrow with you and Wisdom.  Cannot believe the clowns with the 4-wheelers are back again this year ruining it for all of us.  Saw them today and almost stopped to tell them to stop tearing up the walk-in trail.  If this keeps up we may lose our access to fishing Lake Lonely.
I will look for you at your usual spot on the lake.  Will leave my torn breakaway Eagles jacket at home.
Just saw winds 30-40 MPH, so count me out!

Winds 30-40 mph?? Aww,  H-E- double hockey sticks, as Frank Burns would say. I'll see what it's like when i get out in the car.
Maybe I can go someplace more protected,  Burden Lake you can park right in Kay's Pizza or on the 2nd Dyke Road. If you walk about 200 yards out and hang a left, theres a little bay that should offer protection. This is on the 3rd lake. All told, its not as far as the trail to LL and walk to Pikeville. Also jigging ops there.  PM me if youre up for that instead if winds are bad.
Wisdom- if you see a Silver Taurus on 9P, i'm on LL after all.
