Why black Mimi Foo ?

The black mini foo seems to be really effective for steelies. What is it about that lure that is better than others that are similar?

I have caught almost every specie of fish that swims in Pa., including carp & small musky with either black or black with a red head. Tipped or untipped with meat. 1/64 - 1/16 oz. Very important to make sure that the knot is on top every cast, IMO Also a killer when tipped with a minnow in open water or under ice. I think that black is best(I use it 98% of the time) because it is most visible most of the time, also for trout & panfish there seem to be black flies hatching in our local lakes most of the time. & the larger size mimics a small leech , I think.  sam
