Lost fly box

Somewhere along my adventures I lost all my beadheads and dries. Now I need to replace them. Need to buy some that don,t kill my wallet. Any help would be appreciated. My tying skills have alot to be dessired. If anyone cares to take on this task, I need 14-16 caddis beadheads., princes, pheasant tails.  Also 12-14 sucker spawn, cream, pink. Thanks, John

You know, I hear a lot of people say that about cheap flies, I used to use cheap flies before I tied, I never had a problem with the hooks.

Its nice now that I get a killer discount on good hooks but my thinking is a little different.

Say a good hook costs 15 cents and a cheaper hook costs 8.

How many fish are you gonna catch before you:

    1: Ruin a hackle
    2: Lose the fly
    3: Pull the ribbing loose
    4: ...

I really dont think it makes much of a difference, not enough to not fill a box quickly with them.

True, they can and do break hooks, especially since most of the time your into 14's and smaller

I don't disagree that strenght would be advantageous for steelie flies and I would also prefer flies to be tied in the US as opposed to being tied overseas.  I'm not affiliated with theflystop, so I'm not pushing it, merely offering an alternative.  7 bucks a dozen is a good price for flies.  I wouldn't expect drys, which Mika said that he'd lost, to not be used for steelies so this might help out in that aspect.

Also, after looking back at the website, the hooks used are Targus hooks, which by everything I've googled seems to be a reasonable alternative to a decent hook.

    Just my 2 cents.

Percysflies.com $6.50 per dz.....beedheads $7.25 per dz.They are decent ties on a so so hook, trout will never bend them,a Steelie might, depends on how much pressure you put on.I have used them on the SR for Salmon with few problems. At those prices who cares if you lose a few.

Great! You all are very helpful, thanks. I perchused alot of my flies in Emporium at the fly shop there, all hand tied and well done. I also stop on rt.66 sport shop on the way to camp and always bought 4-5 flies there. Had a nice selection going. Bummer! Been busy the last few days so I,m sorry I didn,t get back sooner. Thanks Silver and Indy and TT. All very appreciated. I,m going to try and make the banquit, maybe see some of you there.
Will not be able to get into the one fly though.
                                                                      Thanks again to all, John

flystop.com is actually really good. Not sure if anyone knows him, but Kory runs that website. He used to work at the Neshannock Creek fly shop, younger guy.

All the trout flies are now .50 cents a piece and I personally think that they are very good quality. I haven't had any issues.

I'll throw the ones I cull in with what I'm sending to CR500.
