Overall favorite is lake Simco & Chuchaching in Ontario for Perch,Whitefish & Lakers

Local favorite: Brady's Run Lake Beaver County for trout(no winter stocking last two years until February) or local farm ponds for slab gills.

Presque Ilse is good as well.

JMH, Sorry I can't be more specific but I fish over twenty different lakes per season. Each one has a certain advantage or disadvantage at that particular time. Some have safe ice before others or a particular species I like to target. Some have easier access or shorter walking distance to good structure. I generally target panfish and walleye and prefer to jig fish rather than sit and watch tip-ups. Lou

I prefer small ponds, 5-10 acres. Usually there's less wind than on the bigger lakes. Little warmer you could say. They do freeze up faster and offer a variety of fish.
