OT: PA small game hunting

Do they still stock pheasants in PA?  My cousin says he never sees groups of small game hunters in rural Somerset county anymore....Say's it's been that way since the 1980s....Are PA hunting licenses down?  PA use to be number 1 or 2 in license sales nationally.....Maybe PA is becoming more of a fishing state....

    Yes, they still do. Not sure about the numbers and it seems mostly on State Game lands.

    PA Pheasant Stocking Allocations

    This is a link to a map that will tell you where and when pheasants are to be stocked throughout PA. It also gives a count on the cocks and hens.

    I have been out twice so far and got my limit of two birds both times.

    ya they stock, the just stoked some game lands around me friday.
