I've heard that place was giving up some ridiculous pike when they opened it back up... Nothing wrong with a 31" fish by any means- but I was hearing about quite a few 40" pigs that were being caught during those first few weeks.
I've never hit Basic Creek Res, but I'd like to check it out.
The place that REALLY piques my interest is Stony Creek Reservoir up in Clifton Park.
Rumors abound regarding the pike and bass in that sucker. Hope it opens someday. Even for one day!
