rod review for seabass porgies

hello gang, seeking professional advise for  rod type for use off party boats (want a spinning rod) for sea bass and porgies ..so far I researched st.criox. I'm also gearing up once again for salmon river trip and was wondering about a new spinning rod for salmon too but more so for some serious seabass/porgies off party boats along the jersey shore. Been shopping online but didn't ask anyone yet in a real tackleshop so i figured i'd try asking here about some MH to H fast action spinning rods preferrable an all around rod for both salmon river salmon and sea bass and porgies down the shore. So far leaning towards st.croix 7 ft 9in H premium saltwater spinning rod forget the model number but they do have the new tidemaster series too . I want some backbone say 15 to 20lb.line wt.  or  for jigging bucktailing 3/4 -2 oz lures. I own both 4/0 stradic and sustain shimanos. thanks ahead
