Brian, you say things are slow . You could watch the water all day. Here is the web cam on the Salmon River in Altmar.It takes a little while to load.

    I can't wait to hear about Brian's interactions with a few Chromers this weekend...
     
    He may quickly see the strength difference between a 30lb striper and an 8lb Steelhead...
     
    "Head shakes" ain't got nothing on acrobatics and screaming drags once that Steelie hits the 750cfs this weekend!  Luckilly, the water has come down from around 1150 or so all week.  I'm so jealous of him.
     
    I bet the river is L-O-A-D-E-D with Chromers and Browns!
