Fall Trout on the Mind

Just wondering if this cooler weather has anyone thinking about trout fishing; I certainly can't get it off of my mind.

I got a Columbus Day trip planned to the 'Dacks, but I'm not going to be able to wait that long.  Probably hit up the local streams as well as the Schroon sometime soon.  I know there's a lot of other fishing going on right now, but I'm ready for the 'bows, browns, and brookies.

Showing up is 88% of life!

I was trout fishing last night. We picked up a few small rainbows, but nothing over 15"...**** beaver that lives in the hole kept slapping his tail every 20 minutes - I don't think that was helping us.

A guy was fishing the riffles downstream from us and seemed to be picking a few up.
