Boy how times have changed!!

Can't believe I have 3 doe tags in my hand for Pa.(1B,4E,3B) When I first started hunting(1981) in Pa. you couldn't get a single doe tag for Warren Co. I lived in Erie and at that time Warren Co. was THE spot to hunt for deer. The PGC only gave out like 2400 tags a season. We somtimes got an Erie Co. tag. BUT almost every doe season there would be so much snow in Erie Co. that you could barely walk let alone hunt! So now I have 3 tags and see way more bucks than doe!(that is a good thing to me) I still can't believe we are now living in the "GOOD OLE DAYS" of deer hunting. Just my 2 cents,can't wait for the bashing to begin!  Fire away......

    Forgot to add this year I will be legaly(never even shot one before) hunting in Pa. with a crossbow!!!!

    It's cool that you look at the changes in a positive way...So many do nothing but complain about them.

    Dane, I learned a long time ago that complaining gets you nothing, adapting will acomplish something. You take the good with the bad.

    Hope you get shooting soon, duud.   Many pro crossbow guys hate seeing what they refer to as stereotypes.    Yet, there are so many people that support the notion.   btw... that's not a crack at you personally noplace.   Good luck.

    My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

    SK, I have shot a bow for about 25 years. I can't believe how easy a crossbow is to master. I can drill the bull at 50 yards all day. I only had to practice shooting it for about 6 days(my bow took years!). I am most definitely using it in Pa. AND Ohio this year!!  I get dirty looks from some Pa. bow guys, but I don't care. It is legal, and I always follow the rules.
