9/5 Back to my old self with Reelforce

I joined Reelforce today in search of something other than Gills so i could get my old name back.

Very slow 1st thing but than Jeff took right over where he left off last weekend and started boating some nice bass.

Nice chunk !

Another avg one

Yet another (dude needs a haircut) LOL !

So RF was filling the boat while i played camera man. He stuck with his go to DS rig and a weightless lizard.
By 10:30-11:00 i was basically just like last week (minus the 12pack) LOL !!!

We hit another stretch of shore, i stuck with my jig & some froggin in the pads.

Finally stuck this one (yeeeeaaaaaahhhhhh for me)

Glad i got that one out of the way, got me back on the right track to this ....

4lb 1oz  (on the toad)

Needless to say i was VERY happy about that.

What was very cool was me and Jeff had talked earlier in the morning about ... have you ever had a fish come up and take you bait while it was dangling from a branch ????? 1st time ever for me, it was really cool. I casted close to a downed tree, line was over a branch about a foot up, i let it hang there and splash on the surface, this pig crushed it and took me out deep unhooking my hang up too.

Overall the numbers were little down, but we had a lot of fun ... so in our book mission accomplished !!!

It was fun Jeff !

Feels good to ME again !

BB - aka Bassinbrian LOL

Oh boy - Brian I thought the "Snyders Lake" curse had a hold of ya. After missing a few strikes and how the day was going I was ready to re-name ya "Boatlessbrian" - but it was awesome the way ya bounced back - ya went from sighing in frustration to sighs of relief ... And ya almost forgot after talking about the limb hanging fish hit - ya had that last fish right after I said "ready to call it a day" - lol .... Had a blast my friend glad ya could make it !

    I say "Lunkerville" next !

BB we know you were at Jimmys for the fun of it... you kick bass as well as anybody on these boards.  Nice fish story too.... psychic man!  Hey do you prefer a sinking toad/frog or a floating toad? Weightless right?  I was watching you burn it across the surface at Snyders... very interesting.  Nice day for you too RF you're in a zone brother!

Wow- those are some sweet 'uns!

That lake is ridiculous to me...  I am amazed it gives up such large fish (the Pike rumors are the stuff of legend) so often, especially with all the pressure it seems to get.

This winter I have a funny feeling we'll be having at least one little shindig on that puddle, don't you think?

What a goldmine- you guys nailed 'em!

NiceGoin! I new that cold snap wouldnt have you down long BB not with your talent for bass. You and Jeff had a good Ole day there for sure.

A lure drawing the first strike of an early morning, the strong tug on the end of your line, the excitement of a leaping fish... that,s livin large!
