A week or two early it seems.  Have not seen any without velvet yet down here.  Should be a week or so

At least a week or two. I remember not seeing rubs in previous years until about a week into the season or more.

Saw two eight points on a farm near me last week that were completely rubbed off. Suprised me also so I took my son out the following evening to show him and to our delight both bucks along with a hand full of doe showed up for our viewing. I've never seen them rubbed off this early before.

The earliest I've seen them completely rubbed was August 29. The Majority seem to rub between Sept 8-15, at least in the NW part of the state. I've seen small bucks in velvet in mid Oct.
