New in 2009! personal floatation device requirement

From November 1 to May 1, all
persons on board a boat of less than
21 feet in length (including row
boats, canoes, and kayaks) must
wear a securely fashioned personal
floatation device when the boat is
underway.

Now here is the weird part - this is listed in the Hunting & Trapping Reg book, not the Fishing Reg book ?

Maybe it will show up in the 2009-2010 fishing regs, that should be due out in the next few weeks if not already, or is that the one you a referring to?

Really though its good to bring it back up. I don't have a problem with the regulation.
Now they need to make beer holders built into the PFD's JOKING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Tuna:

I have a PFD with a six pack holder, but it throws off my balance when I fall in the water so I had to add another six pack holder to the other side of the PFD.

I strap a second PFD right around the six-pack itself so that it will be easier in case I flip the canoe...

Sometimes it is a long swim to shore, and it is important to stay hydrated...

I like the pfd law ...

Just wanted to insert my Vick views being a big dog person ... i think he is a F#&$*% scumbag for what he did to those animals and he should be tortured !!!

But he will be a good addition to the Eagles and adds a different style to any offense, not a bad player at all to have.

Have to agree with Brian, I'm not a peta person or tree hugger, But I sure dont like seeing anyone treatin animals that way, Especially dogs. I saw a mechanic at a gas station pore gass down a puppies throaght cause it kept getting in his way while he worked on a car, that puppy ran around the car about 4 times with the mech laughing and then just fell over on his side shakeing, theres no reason for that kind of miss treatment. NONE!

A lure drawing the first strike of an early morning, the strong tug on the end of your line, the excitement of a leaping fish... that,s livin large!

    All:

Just so you know I subscribe to the Green Legion newsletter (the unofficial fan club of the Philadelphia Eagles).  They are doing a one question YES-NO on Vick and the poll is running 73% NO.  I am sure Jeff Laurie the owner is not pleased with the fans reaction, but what should he expect.
Vick was a problem in high school, at Virginia Tech, with the Falcons hanging around with criminals, so how many 2nd chances should the guy get???  Wish I could take him fishing on Lake George, but I would not want to pollute those wonderful waters with his body at the bottom of the lake.
