What to do, what to do

I have a problem guys, I am unsure if I should stick around here and fish either saratoga or a local farm pond or take a little ride and join a couple friends out on lake ontario for the weekend. Its a tough call because from what I have heard the salmon bite has been spotty. What do you guys think?

Thats the way I am leaning at the moment. I think it will be a wee hours of the morning departure for an  early morning and all day fishing adventure. Maybe I will even catch something worthy of pictures... but on big water who knows.

You should stay home, sit by the computer and type all about fishing

I'd do the big pond, friends of mine have been doing well between 160 & 200' for salmon and in around 60 to 80' for browns.

Yeah going west would have been nice, but I had a family member come into town Friday so I was unable to make the trip. Havent talked to the boys yet to see how they fared, but I am sure it was a scorcher. Oh well there will be plenty of fishing done out that way a little later in the season.
