Creek and night fishing (pics)

Well, first I went and fished a few streams for the first time in over a year, did ok at the first, got 7 browns, here are some pics, they ran small, but i lost one that was real nice.

then i moved on to a real small stream, in the middle of a down pour. the water started out clear and got wicked brown and high, but didnt stop me from getting 6 big wild browns, some small ones and a brookie. The nicer fish ranger from 12-15'' but in a stream that you can spit across, it's pretty awsome.

here's one of the nicer ones.

that's the entire stream in the backround, at HIGH water

normally in streams i am 100% C&R especially w/ wilds but there was one casualties, 14'' in a pool 3' wide. sweet undercut bank.

unfortunatly the camera ran out of batteries, i have some pics on my phone, but cant get them on the computer.
it was an awsome day, about 15 trout, including some real nice ones.

Then off to a lake for night fishing. But first, some evening spook fishing.

Through the night we ended up w/ over a dozen trout, and 4 crappie. here's what we kept, no real big ones, but fast action, tripled up at one point. the crappie are 10-11'' if that helps gauge size.

decent day, caught 30 trout in all. good times. had a great meal when we got home.
