Tricos on Spring Creek?

Has anyone been to spring creek recently?  I was wondering the if trico spinners were still falling the morning.  Thanks

    some but very spotty & I just came home from spring creek & it is pure mud heavy storm last night & calling for another one today so I left camp early hope this helps

    Decided to go to the Little J to see if the Tricos started there yet -- have been on Spring the past couple of weeks.
     
    Nothing.  I saw some bugs, but there wasn't a cloud of more than a dozen anywhere that I was, and I covered a lot of water.  Very few fish rising for anything anywhere, which is a shame because I had the river to myself (probably because there weren't any bugs) unlike Spring has been where you need to take a number for the good spots.
     
    Maybe next week.

    Tricos are on Spring, but I personally haven't hit anything major. Expect to walk well into the Paradise for any solitude.

    Yeah I end up walking way up into paradise everytime I go there anyways.  Thanks for the info. guys.

    Just got back from a trip to Spring Creek this evening. I agree with Dave. The creek was still very murky but it was beginning to clear up quite nicely. The flow was good. I did talk to a fella who said the trikes are still giving an occasional bite in early morning but the hot action is coming from terrestials (beetles and ants mostly). I did manage to miss a couple tonight on a beetle myself but thats all I have to report. I hope to get back down there by first of next week. I hope this helps you all out!
