MAGAZINES

What is everyone's favorite fishing magazines? I just subscribed to bassmasters and In-Fishermen but would like more for the long winter months of Northern NY. I thought instead of looking randomly online, I would ask you guys. I can't keep flipping through basspro catalogs as my only fishing fix when at home. It costs me to much. Would love some reading. Thanks

I always feel more alive when I am throwing my pole into a wet spot.

    I really enjoy getting the New York Outdoor News publication.

    Everyone that hunts and fishes in NY should have a subscription.

    Maxim isn't bad..  But it is not as great as it was 15 years ago...
     
    Then again, neither am I...
     
    Oh-FISHING mags?  I don't really know about that stuff.  All I get is Sports Illustrated, and their fishing coverage sucks...

    Hugh Hefner still after like 40 maybe 50 years puts out a good rag with lots of tuna fishing.
    But as for those g-rated mags, Fly fisherman is tops to me. I was getting Eastern Fly Fishing for a while and was ok but lots of PA stuff. I had STS (salmon trout steelhead ) for about 10 years. NY outdoors for 2 years but got tired of reading about opening day on a sat bla.. bla..
    It was a good rag but a bit behind things as far as dates and events...

    thanks..I will take into account Hugh's and maxim...lol ....no really thanks..just ordered NY outdoors and in-fishermen and bassmasters
