Cape trip PICS****

Well let's start with some  pics from the cape.
these are just a small handful of the fish caught on the trip, it was a great week, tons of adventure, wish it had lasted longer, we broke a 100 trout, loads of bass, and even a few stripers.

little bassin.
this one measured in the low twenties, sight fished on a POP-R!
but i finally tried some spooks, and i must say, awsome baits, better than poppers. will be buying TONS lol

another

pig

Then i managed a small striper on a tidal flat , 26''-27'' just under the keeping length
caught it on 8lb test on a bass rod labeled FINESSE WORM AND TUBE!!!lol

then we did some night fishing, tons and tons of trout like this. had two night where 35-50 fish were boated each night, not to mention innumerable bulhead, some perch.
We had several times where we DOUBLED or even TRIPLED up, sometimes we couldent keep lines in the water.

the browns ran a little smaller, but we didn't cantch any trout under 12''

this trout had the stink eye

night 1's casualties

end of night one

then a little more bassin, we were lucky enough to have a house right on a great bass pond, anytime i wanted i could walk on to the dock and catch some bass.

little guy caught this all on his own

night 2 of fishing was just like night 1 so we didnt take as many pics,

even got this!!!!!!!!

it measured three feet on the dot, but we saw an even bigger onew the night before

here's a reason why corn is a bad idea, but this is GULP! corn, which is supposedly biodegratable,
over 50 pieces of fake corn, that it must have eaten off the bottom or stolen over the course of 2 nights, greedy little thing.

close up!! lol

then a little bassin after the sun came up

then a little more salt water

then we biked down to the marsh at midnight to try to get some eels for surf casting, but i ended up with this on a 5'6'' UL uglystick, 22'' awsome fight, awsome suprise

What a great time, i will have more pics from the summer coming up soon. hope you enjoys!

Nice fish! Cape Cod can be a blast, uh? Even when its windy there, you can always hit those freshwater ponds. I hit up the cape at least a couple times each year myself, and its always alot of fun.

Awesome fish Blitz and great pics. It makes it hard to leave when you catchin em like that i bet.

A lure drawing the first strike of an early morning, the strong tug on the end of your line, the excitement of a leaping fish... that,s livin large!
