Fish Finder question

Hey guys I am looking to get a new fishfinder for my boat and am unsure what brand to go with. I am thinking a good greyscale unit seeing I dont really want to spend more than 300-400 bucks on one. I dont think I need GPS, so thats not a factor. So far I am leaning toward the Lowrance X125 but i also like the Furuno 4100. What do you guys have on your boats? One of the main things to be is user friendlyness. I just want a good reliable fish finder thats not going to cost me an arm and a leg.

I would suggest Brian, he usually finds the fish and may not cost as much, just mounting him on your boat may be a problem though.  seriously Lowrance has always been good to me, but that's all I've ever used as well.

A lure drawing the first strike of an early morning, the strong tug on the end of your line, the excitement of a leaping fish... that,s livin large!

I'm only good for Stripers & LMB  (but were in August now and they are getting tough)  .... and NOBODY is MOUNTING me anywhere  !!!!

    .

$300-$400 bucks should get you a very good depthfinder , i can't really suggest a brand or model i just have a cheapo one. Those Furunos are real nice, and Lowerance does make good stuff. deadfishred just a new one this year, nice detail and color , not sure what model ???
