LoveGlove's Eye Adventure

Well I had the day off Friday and Deetz called and wanted to go trollin for eyes.  Since I have never attempted it, I decided why not.  Up at 4am to meet him at Shades by 5:15-5:30. Beautiful morning until the wind pickup the waves.

We reached out destination and went on the "seek and destroy" mission

All was quiet until this little piggy decided she wanted to come home with Deetz!!

I don't know if you can consider it my first Lake Erie eye since he took the hit and then made me bring her.  It will be up to you guys to decide.  I believe she was exactly 26 inches.  It will be great to say the the "LOVEGLOVE" made her appearance just for you slickfish!!!

Only fish we got but it was fun.  Wind and waves picked up and I had a date with the links so we called it a day around 11:00am.

Thanks again Deetz

As I recall Deetz complaining that last week he got gill plated and still had the cut.  That will never happen with me no matter how many teeth they have.  Gotta love kevlar

Because the more teeth a fish has, the more likely you will get gill-plated?

Carcus , dont take this the wrong way , but I gave you the rod to reel that eye in only cause you never have done this kind of fishing before. I have done it many times , this was for your experience not mine.

Im glad we got one and I wanted to make sure it got in the net. You understand right. I didnt know what your netting abilities were since you have never netted fish trolling. You will learn the next time out. I promise.

As far as catching the fish and it being your first catch at it. Yes it counts!!!, all rods in the water belong to all of the people in the boat no matter who's rod the fish hits. ( in our case 2 people) Just my theory.

Your phone takes great pics. Mine does perrty good too , cause thats all I have to take and post pics with.

The sun rises another day on the big pond. Good to be out
