I tried the jets for a few hours.  It took me that long to figure out I had them on backwards.  Couldn't figure out why they wouldn't dive...

Renowski's don't work.

We didn't run no jets this weekend.
I better be careful...some are starting to believe me.

We've just been running Bagley's and sometimes Reef Runner's so far.

Bango #4...Change the hooks out on them to a size bigger. Or use stingers, one of the two. If not, you will loose a lot of fish.

Dan we gota get you some bling on that boat, maybe throw on a purple or green paint job, some dice to hang under the hardtop, then you gota get yourself a grill put in so people 3 miles from you can see you smiling...Then you'll be Pimpin' Pimpin'...

So now the board has turned against the charter captains....I love it.......hilarious....

Anyways, anyone catching anything out of Northeast yet.  My buddy ending up buying that 28' Baha from Ohio that had the engine issues.  The previous Owner replaced both manifolds plus a bunch of other stuff and my buddy was out there on Monday taking it through its paces.  Put over 20 miles on her on the water running her as hard as the conditions allowed and there were no overheating issues.  Boat will be delivered to Northeast marina this Friday or Sat.  Tried to talk him out of putting it up there due to fish locations throughout the summer but I guess he wants to use a lot of gas.  Any schools of eyes make it that far East yet?

I would have said to put it down in Ohio, however Conneaut is full...

Ashtabula would have been about the only option for an Ohio Port...

What motor(s) are in the boat?  Did he get a good buy?

CB,
I think he got an ok deal.  He wanted a boat that was ready to go trolling.  Its the 280 Fisherman that has the single 454 Mercruiser IB so it won't be a barn burner and I am sure it will suck down the gas but, he liked the fishing room.  Lots of recent engine work done, even previous to the overheat issue and the hull was surveyed and good a couple years ago.  Came with boards and mast, electric downriggers, lots of rod holders, rods, reels, lures, and other fishing equip., 24 mi. radar, not sure if it is a color or LCD sonar, AC/heat, GPS and Loran, fully removable, hard walled custom enclosure for the cockpit to make it live aboard, drop down curtains, trailer, some other customer work, for a little less than 10k.  It is an '87 but the owner is an older, retired electrical engineer that, as is typical of us engineer types, anal retentive to the nth degree about everything.
