Raystown shore fishing

I'm taking my family up to Raystown this week and just wanted to see if anyone had suggestions for spots to fish for bass from shore. I've been there a few times and never had much success so I want to change it up to get my brother into some bass. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You could try the dam.  Lots of fish in there.  Never know what you are going to hook.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

Around the Entriken bridge would probably be the best spot, there's lots of riprap bank there. Another place would be the james creek boat ramp. Most of the bass tourneys go out of there, and there's a good path on the left side leading out of the cove.

Also the bay/ cove near the old Brumbaugh mansion is a great bass spot and is accessible from shore. As a general rule, the upper end of the lake is shallower and warms quicker, high in DO due to the strong influence of the RB Juniata, and a higher percentage of warmwater species are caught there. Lower end is more suitable to smallmouth.
