Denny Dunker Perch Rig
I was reading the Erie fishing report and writer said he was catching perch on a "Denny Dunker perch rig". I have never heard of this rig, so I googled it and came up with a reference to this rig being invented by Denny Zukowski, a charter captain in the Cleavland area. I couldn't find any info on what the rig looks like or how to make/ buy one . Has anyone ever seen or know anything about this rig? Any info would be apreciated.

Denny is a season passholder on the Edward John headboat and he came up with a great perch rig that he makes himself named the "Denny Dunker" (Denny's an ole timer that spends alot of time perchin and a hell of a guy) AND THE DUNKERS ARE EXTREMELY EFFECTIVE.

Interesting... so the Dennis Zukowski in Cleveland and his invention of the Denny Dunker is not the same one that was referred to in the local fishing report as being used on the Edward Jonh last week? That brings me back to the origional question as to what the local Denny Dunker looks like? Any ideas? Have you seen him using it on the EJ?

Well, I guess I've hit the wall on this one. I'm always looking for new ideas and I'd love to buy, see ,or as last resort, steal one (just kidding on the last one). Anyone have an idea as to what to try next?

It's not called a Denny Dunker here in Ohio, and at moment I can'y think of the name. Try calling Grand River Tackle in Fairport Harbor, Ohio 440-352-7222 or 1-800-870-5645. They are sold in this area.

Let me clarify this. What the local Denny uses is his own version of the sibaki rig, it works with great success on the EJ, John the boat owner sells the sibaki rig onboard, Denny is true character,he and I were the first season ticket holders on the EJ. I have never heard Denny or anyone else refer to himself or the rig as the "Denny Dunker", he has been called many other things onboard though
