This happen to anyone before?

Get this. I'm on the boat in the slip, and have been smashin large mouth everyday. But today was different. I loaded up my favorite perch lookin Rapala, bout 4 inch long lure. And smashed PERCH on it. I've heard of peeps catchin a perch here and there on lures, but 1 after another? and an occasional bass too. Most fun I had on the boat this year and never left the dock..........lol

You dirty *%$# son of a &^%$. I told ya NOT to fish without me! Tryin' new stuff without me on the boat, WTF!.....I'm gonna hide carcuss1211's hat in your hull, or pee in your slip, or somethin!

Never did it with perch.  But one time at a certain central PA lake , while I was waiting for my friends to get down to the dock I decided to cast out a jitterbug in the early fog.  I caught a huge bass, and there was no one around to show it to.

Fish eat what they can, They're opportunistic feeders,they might target on thing more than others if there is an abundance of food. But over the years I've learned the hard way about putting my own foot in my mouth on more than one occassion. Now I never tell anyone: YOU'RE FISHING TOO DEEP OR NOT DEEP ENOUGH, I DON'T THINK THEY'LL HIT THAT, THAT WAS A BAD CAST, WHY ARE YOU USING THAT, WE'RE DRIFTING TOO FAST, THAT LURE IS TOO BIG ETC !!!!!!!  I've seen plenty of nice fish caught using methods or takle that I thought was inappropriate. But you never know what will take your offering, so NO I'm not surprised that perch would hit a good size perch colored stickbait. I've seen much crazier things happen on the water.
