No, but are you the one that commented to me before about the actual lake - is there anything in there?  Does the fire dept. still control the launch ramp?

We caught a few smallies below the dam - I didn't even know there were trout in there.

Wasn't me.... I think your talking about the spillway at Raystown Lake off of Point Road.  I don't believe the fire dept controls anything to do with the lake but I could be wrong.  The spillway I was talking about is on the Juniata River.

No, I mean at Petersburg.  The lake that forms above the spillway.

    trout,
There are some Big trout in there, but mostly smallies.   I was told by a local, many years ago, that the best bait for a bass below the dam was a small trout. I was fishing for trout at the time.  I guess it was his way of telling me there were few trout in the water.  But I wouldn't see why not.  There are lots of feeder creeks that are stocked and that have trout in them so go for it and then give us a report.

Yes, the Petersburg fire co still controls the gate. I am told that you can buy a key at the little store there close to the fire hall for $20.00. I have also been told that there is some BIG Bass in the lake, both smallies and largemouth. This info has come from good sources, but I have not had the opportunity to fish the lake. When and if I get the chance I will post how we do.

Sometime in June they have a catfish derby there. Sponsored by the firehall.

Thanks for the info.  What is the name of the fire hall - I'm having trouble finding it online, I wanted to call so that I don't make a trip up there and the store is closed or something and I'm stuck with a long drive back home.

Petersburg fire co. They have a bar at the fire hall, so someone is nearly always there.

Yep, that's Juussst what you need.  A bar in a fire hall.   But at least you'll have people available to ride the trucks.   Man I love Central PA!

In the town I grew up in there we 16 churches and 18 bars -- some of which were at gun clubs (that's even better than at the firehall).  Love Central PA.

Almost every gun club near me has a bar. Some even have their liquor license.
