GOBBLERS

Me an my daughter took a ride today to check a few spots. We figured that since it was raining they should be out.We was going out the road beside the house i said **** that looked like a full struter. So we turned around an went back to see sure enough there he was all puffed up he looked uglier then **** but he had 3 lady friends with him with another lb and 3 jakes. So we went up the the road where i saw them 15 gobblers a few weeks ago. There was at least 5 lb's i know for a fact but i'm pretty sure they where all gobblers. These 2 spots are turkeys that get alot of eyes put on them but it seem that there is just as many there that was there before the season started.

i found a big boy today while i was shrooming. i heard him gobblen from along way off. i knew he was out in this field, cause i been seing bout 5 turkeys there from about as far as you can see a turkey from another road acoss on the other hill. when i got a spot to see from about 600 yards he was in the field strutten and gobblen without another turkey insite. he looked pretty nice size and he was all alone. i will be there ready bout 5am. in 1 spot 2 days in a row they where gobblen by 5:05. it was pitch black out.

Sugar i think they're hard to find.Yes they're very good i hate mushrooms but when you cook these babies you'll have people fighting over them.If you ever find a spot don't tell no one about it even if you have to take it to the grave with you.LOL
