I don't know if the rain knocks the bugs down,but they do go to the fields when it rains,they prune and groom themselves,and strut,if you have seen turkeys in a certain field alot I would be hunting in the rain,Ive killed a few LB in green fields in the rain( drizzle not a down pour) they don't take a good pic all wet,but a wet dead bird is better than no bird.
