Glad you had success.  Beautiful weekend!  The wind presented a problem on W. Pa lakes.Kettle is a pretty good trek for me.  I never go up unless I have a 3 day.  What part of PA do you live in?

i live in mercer county so its about a 3hr to 3hr 30 minute drive.  also roosted a turkey about 200 yards from camp but woke up a little late and heard someone shoot in that area as i was getting ready to head out. walked up to the pipeline and talked to the guy that shot, had about a 8in beard. said he heard it from the road walked down the pipeline called 3 times after it flew down and came right in. was 610 when heard the shots.

I too was in the Sinnamahoning/Sinnemahoning (the town can be spelled either way, but the creek is always spelled with an e) valley this weekend.  Lots of Blue Quills around as well as some caddis on the small water I visited.  Not much surface activity though.

I plan to stay for 5 days next month. and should hit several hatches then.
Were is your camp SF12?  I'm between the dam and town.w_w.

If it has fins and gills, I'm there.
