Leaky rivets

I have an old starcraft that has dozens of leaky rivets, any suggestions on how to go about replacing them ? I dont want to make a bigger mess than I have now. Would like to re-rivet but this is going to be new for me. Thanks in advance !

    I wonder if the boat manufacturer would be of help on this.  I would try that first.

    Alumalaloy-weld aluminum with a propane torch.
    I have used these and they work great.

    before you redo them try to reseat the old ones. Place a piece of steel against one side and tap the other end with a hammer a few times and see if that helps. I did that many years ago to a 12 foot jonboat and it held it for at least 10 years till i sold that boat.

    Giz, try to reseat the rivets as mentioned above.
     
    If you can get the aluma-weld, use that.
     
    If not, then use 2 part epoxy to seal them up. I did it 11 years ago on my skiff and the epoxy is just starting peel off. Make sure your surface areas are good and clean. Those little round brushes you put in your drill work great, then spray if off with either so there's no residue.

    Place a two pound sledge hammer on one side and have someone hit the other side with an hammer hard enough to flatten the rivet out a little. Working on the bottom of the boat will require two people.

    Thanks for all the info, I think I'll try the epoxy first. Have a floor in there now and I'm not ready to remove it yet because I know I'll mission creep into too big of a project for this time of the year. Saw the infomercial on the aluma weld stuff, that really looked good.If anyone knows the winning lotto #'s for next week let me know and I'll just get a boat that doesn't leak !! Thanks again for the suggestions.
