Anyone been out fishing the Little Juniata recently?????

    I've been fishing it a couple days each week. The past few weeks. The olives just started.

    You gonna fish this weekend?  SC is summertime low and I am either gonna fish the LJ or maybe try Penns.

    Weather permitting my brother and I will be headed out in the morning.  Still not sure where exactly we are going to go on the J.

    i've been to the little j twice and penns creek 3 times in the past 2 weeks....... spin fishing with small panther martins and rooster tails the whole time....... caught a total of 6 in the little J and in penns creek near poe paddy i've caught 3 trout and 2 smallmouth.  not great action but i think the water is too cold to catch much on spinners right now

    I am in the same boat, I will likely be somewhere there I just haven't figured out where specifically.  We are supposed to get some rain this afternoon, it doesn't look like a ton, but any amount at this point should help.

    Fished Spring tonight with a friend who was just coming back from LJR. 

    The report was good action with olives until the runoff hit...

    About to hit 400 cfs which is my personal wading limit for much of the stream(don't like swimming).  Saturday should be a fun day.
