Anise

I want to buy some anise but am not sure where to get it.  Can anyone tell me where to find it?  Also, does it tend to be real corrosive like alot of the scents that are on the market?  I have ruined alot of spoons & lures over the years with commercially made scents as they seem to be really corrosive and rust them if you don't clean them off really well after using them.  I'm hoping the anise will work as an attractant and also be less corrosive.

Grocery store in the baking goods aisle, by the vanilla, and other flavoring oils.

Or you could take some of those "fat burning" weight loss pills, and make your own

I ordered anise extract from this company before:

Also, check the dollar stores, or value aisle in Shop 'N Save or Giant Eagle.  You should be able to get a bottle for $1, or if you want to order a larger size, get it from the above link.

Like they said, in the food aisle with the vanilla and similar stuff. You won't need the 5 gallon bucket, a little of that stuff goes a long way.

Usually Health Food Stores (Granolas) will carry anise! You might also try WD40!

    Eagle Crg:

Try the liquor store and that way even if you don't catch anything (which is usually the case with you), you can drink away your sorrows.  Also, how did Spoonchucker know you should be on a diet??  If he saw that dessert you had yesterday I'm sure that would have convinced him.

Ed, I remember last year I bought a bottle for dunking ice fishing shinners bait. Really can't say how much more it helped catching fish.  It took about two ice fishing trips to finish the bottle... I personally do not care for it as a after diner either. Anyone planning a SR trip before april?

EagleEd:  Maybe if you soaked your worms in that green beer you had the other day the fish might go crazy over a live chartreuse worm.  We're still waiting for those pics from PP.
