What would be a good scope to put on a mossberg 535?We can't get it to hit anything. It shoots way high.I guess a scope is are last option.

The 535 is drilled and taped for a weaver scope rail. A weaver rall is like 10$ and so ar the rings. So a 20 and some change u got everything but  yr scope. I put a red dot sight on most of my turkey guns. A word of advise get a good one.  If u have 535 your probably firing full house 3.5 inch loads though it.  This throws scopes a beating. And also give urself plenty of eye relief. You dont want to get "ringed"!

What i did to save my shoulder was i set a target up 10yrd take a sitting position  shot with ur turkey loads. Make it a good one because it gets painfull if u screw this step up and have to repeat it. Adjust point of aim to the one ragged hole u blew in the card board. Then take a 20 yrd shot and then a 40 yarder. Adjust at the 20 yarder to account for pattern density. Then ur all set.
