House Bill 92 concerns

Everyone hear that HB 92 is in jeopardy all of a sudden.  Basically this bill allows the transactions fees associated with POS to be passed on to the license buyer.  Same as the already existing Fish and Boat commission POS system.

The legislature is dragging their feet on moving it through all of a sudden.  If this is not passed the PGC would have to pay the fees to Automated Licensing Systems at a cost of over 1.5 million.  Needless to say, POS could be scrapped without this bill passing.

This passed through the House Game and Fisheries Committee without a hitch and the F&B is already using.  I am hearing that many sportsmen are contacting the legislators to oppose this bill and the legislators are worried the bill will be percieved as a tax.

Seems the legislature is trying to starve the PGC.  Hmmmmm.........

If you support adequate funding for the PGC and the POS system, it is imperative that we all contact our reps and senators and push for the passing of this bill.

Fast eddy on his way to putting casino's in our gamelands.  What are the chances... I don't know, say out of 10 with 10 beings the most likely, that this whole recent legislative intervention is actually a strategy to destroy the PGC ??

Things are shaky right now, I agree.  Actually, they have been for some time.

The PGC is doing a fine job of destroying themselves all on their own. They really don't need any additional help.
