Good Luck and take care. Was plenty of ice at Fort Ann Beach on Thursday the 5th but the ice was making a lot of  noise, creeking, cranking and such. As we headed in we saw where a pressure crack had opened (a few inches wide) off the beach while we were out. Lot of rain and warm temps sense then. So again, good luck and be safe mate....cheers

Good luck Perch...we did pretty decent up north over the weekend.  Hopefully those shorelines will hold up enough for me to get out this weekend.

    Good luck Perch

    ______________

Jeff the lake was named after a KING, not a Queen George LOL  ... so some refer to it as "The King" ... like i do.

On August 28, 1755, Sir William Johnson led British colonial forces to occupy the area in the French and Indian War. He renamed the lake as Lake George for King George II ...

    Hey Brian:

I thought Jeff was the "Queen"!  I know you can't wait for those stripers and this year my brother (who lives on the Delaware) is finally going to try for stripers around the Yardley/Trenton area on the Delaware.

    Some call it "The King"

    Some Call it "The Queen"

Can't we all just pretend to be a little sophisticated and refer to it as "Lac Du Saint Sacrement"?

For those of you who don't know...

Lac Du Saint Sacrement is French, meaning "land of inexpensive tee shirts, biker chicks,  and wax museums"
