Survey for an article-Need your input

How many of you wear a PFD Personal Flotation Device of the inflatable fishing vest or Sospender type when wading big streams or rivers?
Choices:
(A) I wear one
(B) Never
(C) There too darn uncomfortable

How many use a wading staff and what type do you prefer?

Thanks for any replies guys, this is an important safety issue and I know I can get some honest replies here.

Good fishin'

I never wear any PFD type devices but I use a wading staff all the time now as since I have gotten older.  I bought a Folstaf 3/4 inch style and will never wade again with out one.

I sometimes carry a graphite golf club with the head broken off for a wading staff.  Light, cheap and easily replaced if i forget it.

A But only on big water (like 16 mile)

I always use a cane since I can't walk on dry land without one.

    B, never used one

Never used a wading staff, per se, though I've been known to go find a big old stick before trying to cross high, fast water.  If that counts, mark me as yes.

But, I insist on anyone under 16 wearing a pfd when fishing with me.
