Essox,
When in doubt cross em up!  I will always throw something big almost every time I'm on the Spring Creek.  As a matter of fact a big, black, woolybear catapiller tie is one of my (and the fish's) favorites.  Just try it; tie one on chuck it out and let it drift.  You may be plesantly suprised.

Would you care to share a recipe for your woolybear catapiller?

Yes, Shawn.   Ohio was extremely disappointing as the water was a day away from being perfect.  It wasn't high but brown and maybe 3 inches visibility.  It started to turn green at about 6pm.   Thought about staying there and renting a vehicle for the ride home.     It's so frustrating leaving good water and fresh fish.  The reports the next day I got confirmed it, hot fish were there and in good numbers.

We went to Elk and got some..  I don't know, PA waters just don't have the excitment in the Spring like they do in late October.  Time to think about rising trout and strippers.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.
