Here we go again!

It seems like this is a recurring theme every year but, this appears to be the most credible lion sighting yet in PA.

Funny thing is, my buddy owns a junkyard right next to the area where this was sighted.  He has a trail cam set up near the gate to catch theives, and he claimed there was a "large" cat in one of his trail cam pics.  He went as far to call it a "thundercat".  I will try to get the trail cam pics off of him tomorrow but, take a look at this link for now.

Body looks too short and squat for a typical cougar.

After some further examination I think you are correct.  The way the photo was shot is decieving, there isn't much in the picture to put the size of the animal in persepective.

When are people going to realize that there are indeed big cats in PA.  The body on that animal does look a bit different, but the head and tail are all cat.  I'm not saying there's pure bread mountain lions, but there not coyotes, bobcats or fox.  I don't understand why somebody has not shot one yet to prove all the disbelievers wrong.  The day I see one with a gun in my hand its going to hit the ground, don't care if I get a fine.

Maybe its someone in a cat suit!

I have no doubt they are here but that pic to me does not look like one. Tail looks to short and body to fat.

I have no reason to think that the people who took the picture are trying to pull a fast one. .  It does look a little on the chunky side, maybe too short of a tail and too long of legs, I really dont know what they are supposed to look like exactly, maybe it was a young one some one let loose because they were irresponsible owners, may explain the fat look.
