Pymatuning help

I know this may be a lot to ask...  I was wondering if anyone out there would be willing to give me some help on fishing Pymatuning.  Back story...  I moved to Albion last year and finaly gave up fishing the bay since it is just as far of a drive as Pymy is.  I have no problems finding or catching fish in the spring and summer.  Yesterday was a good example of a typical day for me.  4 crappie and a dink perch.  Spent all morning watching fish on the flasher swim up, look at my bait for a minute then move off.  I tried every trick in the book and color/jig that I had with the same result.  I am just about at my wits end trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.  If anyone out there would like to help me out I would appreciate it, better yet if anyone wants to meet up I'll buy the bait and bring lunch.
