SNow Geese

Has anyone been hearing or even seeing any snows flyin around the western or central part of the state? Possibly around mercer or north clarion areas?

    I don't think you will find many in the western part of the state, have to go east.  I believe middlecreek wildlife area is where they are all at.

    I've seen snows the last few days here in Erie County.

    The Lord has blessed us all today... It's just that he has been particularly good to me.

    Are you sure they're snows and not tundra swans?
    There have been a bunch tundras moving through Crawford County in the last week.

    No, they were snows.  I have been seeing a lot of swans around also, but these were snows.  I watched them two days in a row.

    Nice, how big was the flock?
     I was in Williamsport a couple of springs back and got to see them in full migration through the area out there. Very impressive to see.

    Around 300, yea they are cool birds. I have seen them up here on occasion.  Not in big numbers though.

    i saw 1 snow goose flying with a flock of about 20 canadian geese.   Tim

    Been seeing a few birds here in  N. Crawford County this week...
     
    Not sure if they were snows or swans....
