motorized shanty?

A couple years ago I was on PI and saw a small shanty cruisin across the ice and I was wondering how he was moving that thing. I never could get close enough to it to see but it made small track like a wheel or track in the middle and some skis on the side. I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen this guy and knows what he has in that shanty sure seems to be the way to get around on the ice.

I saw it last year too but he was headed out to the middle of the bay and he passed my hut up like he was in a hurry to get out there. I have no idea what the heck he got in it. o.5 liter supercharged go cart ,may be he rigged his power auger up to double as a go cart type of thing. gonna have to ask next time he is near. pretty inventive what ever it is.

I'm under the impression as long as he doesn't run in on state park property he's perfectly legal. If he parks there and drives it from his tow vehicle to the ice i'm not sure how that would go if caught. I would hope the park rangers would have enough sense to look the other way. If he comes in from the city side he should be good to go.

Camouflage is why he does not get fined.
It looks like an ice hut not a banshee

Kbob, that's quite the machine you have there. I know I was sure jealous when I saw it out on the ice. I bet it sure makes locating fish easier.

Here are some pics of kbob's motorized ice shack.  These are the ones from the other thread.  I have others but for some reason I can't upload pics to photobucket.
