Shanty 4 the family?

i dont know much about ice huts..but usually if its a 4 man it really turns out to be a 2 man with all the gear in it..2-2 man shantys might be the way to go..u could put some gear in both huts and possibly fit a 3rd person into one of them

hahaha..no i was just givin my 2 cents about this one..im scared to death of ice fishing..i always think about falling thru

god i read that post today..he had fun up at the dam..ive only ice fished once..the ice was 12 inches thick and i was still scared

I have a clam 5600 that is sold as a 4 man and there is no way I could see fishing 4 people in it.  The 6200 (I think that is their number) was used by a friend of mine with his family of 5 till the kids were teens.  It was very heavy without a carrier sled and not easy to set up in high winds,  but roomy and very durable are the positives.  I have 3 different clams and they hold up well.  Hope this helps.
