Carp at the dams

Does anyone know of carp hitting at the dams on the Allegheny River?? I have fished for them with bread and corn but only succeeded in catching a few rather large catfish. Wondering if anyone knows a good time of the year to catch carp right below the dam??
Catfishing at the dams is unbelievable!!! During the later part of the day in the summer I cast out pretty much any bait for catfish. chicken livers, catfish charlie, bread, corn, even hot dogs and caught a nice size cat every 5 minutes.

I used to carp fish below dams when and if the water gets really low in the summer.  Not much else will be hanging around if it gets real shallow below the dams BUT carp.  Chum like crazy and you will be in action all day.

A spot u might want to try is around any place  where there is warm water ie storm drains sewer plants and steel mills. My dad used to have a business on the river with a warm water release beside it and in the cold months you could see carp stacked on top of each other.  Thers would be hundreds laying along the shore in the warmer water.
